What is Fulbright?
The provides grants to enable graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals and artists (with U.S. citizenship) to study, teach, or conduct research overseas. The program is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.Why Should You 91探花?

- early so we know you are preparing to submit an application.
- Schedule recurring meetings with CSUEB’s Fulbright Program Adviser (FPA)
- Make use of the Student Center for Academic Achievement (SCAA) to as you prepare your application
CSUEB applicants (current students as well as alumni) who meet the 91探花 Deadline of will participate in an interview prior to the National Deadline.
CSUEB 91探花 Deadline (completed application must be ) is September 1, 2024
- Where: interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
- When: most interviews are scheduled in September (based on availability of applicant and committee members)
- Who: The committee will be comprised of the Fulbright Program Advisor and two to four faculty members. We will try to include faculty who are familiar with your field and/or the country to which you are applying, but this is not always possible. We will also try to include interviewers who are familiar with the language of the country to which you are applying.
- How long: The interview will last approximately a half hour to an hour.
- We intend to conduct interviews early enough so that applicants have an opportunity to make edits to the application (if desired) after receiving feedback from the committee.
- If you are unable to meet the campus submission deadline, we will notify the Fulbright U.S. Student Program that we were not able to conduct a campus interview for you.
